Summary of the Hard Services PFI Contracts Manager:

Our client is seeking an interim Hard Services PFI Contracts Manager to oversee the delivery and development of their contracts. The Hard Services PFI Contracts Manager will ensure that all contracts adhere to legal guidelines, mitigate risks, and align with the client’s objectives. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders.

Hard Services PFI Contracts Manager Deliverables / Outcomes (include but are not limited to):

  • Contract Delivery – ensure that contacts are being delivered to agreed specifications and customer's expectations.

  • Legal Compliance – ensure that all contracts comply with legal and regulatory requirements.

  • Risk Management – identify potential risks associated with contracts and develop strategies to mitigate them.

  • Contract Administration – maintain a comprehensive database of contracts, track key milestones and obligations, and ensure compliance with contractual terms.

  • Negotiation – conduct negotiations with external parties to achieve favourable terms and conditions while maintaining positive relationships.

  • Stakeholder Communication – act as a liaison between internal departments, external suppliers and clients to facilitate effective communication and resolution of contract-related issues.

  • Contract Renewals & Amendments – manage contract renewals, extensions, and amendments in a timely manner, ensuring continuity of services and favourable outcomes for the organisation.

  • Training & Education – provide guidance and training to internal stakeholders on contract management processes, best practices, and legal requirements.

  • Performance Monitoring – monitor contract performance and compliance with contractual obligations and address any issues or discrepancies as they arise.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications: 

  • Proven experience in Contract Management, with a strong understanding of contract delivery and legal obligations within PFI.

  • Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to influence and persuade others.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on risk assessment and mitigation.

  • Proficiency in Contract Management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively.

Location: Tameside, on-site

Start date: Immediate

Duration: 2 - 3 months

Day Rate: Competitive day rate
