Summary of the Facilities Services Mobilisation Manager role:

Our client is seeking an experienced Facilities Services Mobilisation Manager. The Facilities Services Mobilisation Manager plays a crucial role in the seamless integration and operation of facilities services within a pharmaceutical facility. This position oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of all activities related to the mobilisation of facility services, ensuring alignment with organisational goals, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. The Facilities Services Mobilisation Manager collaborates with various stakeholders to establish efficient processes, manage resources effectively, and uphold high standards of service delivery.

Facilities Services Mobilisation Manager Deliverables / Outcomes (include but are not limited to):

  • Strategic Planning: Develop comprehensive mobilisation strategies for facility services in alignment with organisational objectives and industry standards.

  • Project Management: Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of mobilisation projects, including facility setup, equipment installation, and staff training.

  • Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with internal departments, external vendors, and regulatory agencies to facilitate the smooth transition of facility services and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

  • Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to support mobilisation activities and meet project deadlines.

  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans to address challenges that may arise during the mobilisation process, ensuring minimal disruption to facility operations.

  • Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to monitor the performance of facility services post-mobilisation and address any deficiencies promptly.

  • Training & Development: Provide training and support to staff involved in the mobilisation process, ensuring they possess the necessary skills and knowledge to carry out their roles effectively.

  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of mobilisation activities, including project plans, timelines, and budgets, and provide regular progress reports to senior management.

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimisation and efficiency gains within the mobilisation process, driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall performance.

  • Budget Management: Monitor and manage the budget allocated for mobilisation projects, ensuring expenditures are within approved limits and delivering value for money.

  • Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure that all mobilisation activities adhere to health and safety regulations and promote a culture of safety among staff and contractors.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (advanced degree or professional certifications, e.g., PMP, CFM, preferred).

  • Proven experience in facilities management, project management, or related field, within the pharmaceutical industry.

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage cross-functional teams and build collaborative relationships.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, with a track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.

  • Sound knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards relevant to facilities management in the pharmaceutical sector.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify issues, evaluate options, and implement effective solutions.

  • Experience in change management and stakeholder engagement, with a focus on driving organisational alignment and achieving strategic objectives.

Location: Kilkenny, Ireland / Hybrid Working

Duration: 6 + months

Day Rate: Competitive day rate
