Summary of the Hard FM Assistant Account Manager role:

Our client is seeking an interim Hard FM Assistant Account Manager to support the Account Manager in overseeing contract delivery, ensuring adherence to contractual and legal obligations, risk mitigation, and alignment with the company's objectives. We are seeking a Hard FM Assistant Account Manager with strong analytical skills, good attention to detail, and adept communication skills to effectively engage with various stakeholders.

Hard FM Assistant Account Manager Deliverables / Outcomes (include but are not limited to):

  • Contract Delivery – support the Account Director in all aspects of contract delivery.

  • Legal & Contract Compliance – ensure all contracts comply with legal and contract requirements.

  • Risk Management – identify potential risks associated with the contract and develop strategies to mitigate them.

  • Contract Administration – maintain a comprehensive database of contracts, track key milestones and obligations, and ensure compliance with contractual terms.

  • Negotiation – conduct negotiations with external parties to achieve favourable terms and conditions while maintaining positive relationships.

  • Stakeholder Communication – act as a liaison between internal departments, external vendors, clients, and legal counsel to facilitate effective communication and resolution of contract-related issues.

  • Contract Renewals & Amendments – manage contract renewals, extensions, and amendments in a timely manner, ensuring continuity of services and favourable outcomes for the organisation.

  • Training and Education – provide guidance and training to internal stakeholders on contract delivery, management processes, best practices, and legal requirements.

  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor supplier performance and compliance with contractual obligations and address any issues or discrepancies as they arise.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications: 

  • Proven experience in contract management, with a strong understanding of contract delivery and legal principles.

  • Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to influence and persuade others.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on risk assessment and mitigation.

  • Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively.

Location: Wakefield, on-site

Start date: Immediate

Duration: 3 - 6 months

Day Rate: Competitive day rate
